I watched some of the range coverage at the Masters this afternoon, and tried to figure out why I seem to have a backswing/swing plane problem. I consulted an old favorite, Ben Hogan’s Five Lessons: The Modern Fundamentals of Golf. Short of seeing an instructor and practice, reading the five lessons is about the best thing you can do for your golf game. I think this is especially true if you’re just starting out. After brushing up, I went to Oak Marr and hopefully made some progress.
